“Owen, Liam and Tommy were excellent with moving my stuff. Super efficient and fast! Would highly recommend”
I’m Owen Brennan, and my crew has been running local moves across Boston and Middlesex County since 2012. Most of what we haul isn’t a suburban ranch — it’s a third-floor triple-decker walk-up in Dorchester, Somerville, or Cambridge with a stairwell built for people, not sofas.
We quote a flat rate in writing before we load, so there’s no surprise number at the truck. Rate covers our own trucks, our own W-2 crew, blankets, dollies, and shrink-wrap — not add-ons you find out about later.
| Crew size | Rate | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 2 movers + truck | $175/hr | Studio or 1-bedroom walk-up |
| 3 movers + truck | $225/hr | 2-3 bedroom home or condo |
Sample flat-rate jobs we’ve locked in writing recently:
| Move | Flat rate |
|---|---|
| 1-bedroom triple-decker, Somerville to Cambridge | $620 |
| Studio walk-up, South Boston to Dorchester | $395 |
| 2-bedroom colonial, Newton to Arlington | $980 |
| 3-bedroom split-level, Framingham local move | $1,150 |
| 2-bedroom brownstone, South End to Back Bay | $860 |
One-hour minimum on every job. We carry $0.60/lb released-value coverage standard, with full-value protection available up to $1,000,000 in cargo coverage per shipment. We hold a Massachusetts DPU household-goods permit plus US DOT and MC authority — we’re a real mover, not a broker passing your job to a stranger.
Narrow one-way streets in the South End and resident-permit parking near Beacon Hill mean we pull cones or a permit in advance and stage a shuttle-load plan when a full-size truck can’t sit at your door.
